Vespel is the trade name of an ultra-high-performance thermoplastic (UHTP), within the family of Polyamide-Imides (PAI).
It is one of the top performing thermoplastics due to its excellent mechanical properties even at high operating temperatures and high-pressure applications with very good chemical resistance. It has gained recognition under the ISO 13709 International Standard and the American petroleum Institute’s API 610 Standard.
